Q: How long does it take to complete a typical project?

A: The length of the project depends on the area of coverage as well as the amount of surface preparation needed. Small rooms may take a week to complete, while larger projects may require much longer.

The process is labor intensive and time consuming. On most applications there are a number of layers of plaster applied. Each layer must dry, before the next one can be applied. We do have some finishes that have less drying time.

A stickler for details, correctly prepping a room for a project is critical. Anything that is not a part of the project should be covered or removed from the work area.

As with anything, you always try and prepare for the worst. Extra layers of plastic are taped down in case “Murphy” decides to come in the room.

Final detailing is when we put our signature on a project.  Details are so important in the final result. We never leave a project….. until all the final detailing is complete.

We approach each project, as if we were working on our own home. The friendships we have made during a project, are just as important as the …final work of art.

Q: What about pricing, what costs are involved when bidding a project?

A: There are many factors that are taken into account when drafting a final bid for a project. The room preparation, square footage of coverage area, wall height, ceiling height and the Italian Plaster finish selected. We have a minimum square footage for each project. Italian Venetian Plaster is priced comparable to many Faux Finishes in the area. All work for the job, whether it is an Italian Venetian Plaster, Faux Finish, Rooms Painted, Wallpaper, or a Tin Ceiling, are added together. The total price then receives a final review.
