The Argus Leader - A recent article in our local newspaper, "The Argus Leader" in the life section, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, featured our design company... Bella Faux Finishes.
The history and drama of Italian Venetian Plaster, imported from Verona Italy, was fun to share. Before we started offering our services, I invested over a year working on hundreds of sample boards and practicing on our own home projects, training my hands and mind to learn this difficult and physical application.
Understanding the chemistry of the lime plasters is the key to working on different substrates and creating this dramatic effect. To be a successful "Master Italian Plaster Artisan" requires years of training and application. Everyday I learn something new about the dramatic Italian Finishes.
